I'm pretty sure I started warning everyone that this was coming...back in late summer of 2016. Then the "reports" came out after the close of the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2016 substantiating everything I said: that the "sub-prime" credit bubble was set to burst. Again.
The reports were worse than ever this time last year when it was reported in the 4th quarter of 2018 that our sub-prime credit bubble was worse than previously thought before.
And now, a year later, the numbers are worse than ever before, even to the point where Warren Buffet decided to sell off his stake in Wells Fargo, a noted sub-prime lender of all kinds of sub-prime debt including car loans, signature loans, home mortgages, etc.
Apparently nobody learned ANYTHING from pre-2008. And if they did learn any lessons, they've certainly forgotten them already.
As of the close of the last fiscal quarter, approximately 6 million people (all with credit scores below 620) were 3 or more months late on their car payments. Even worse, car loans are STILL being made to people with FICO scores of around 520. These people shouldn't be given a loan for ANYTHING let alone a new (or used) car.
And yes, banks have already restricted lending on -- you guessed it -- REAL ESTATE because they have to start hedging their bets against the astronomical losses on all kinds of loans that they're already taking.
This would be REASON #1 as to why and how our economic conditions will suddenly show signs for the worse.
So...what would be the second reason?
Remember that "trickle down" economics theory? You know, the one that NEVER works the way anyone tries to "sell" it to the American public that it will? Well, your large corporations like Carrier are laying people off because, well...they would like to keep EVEN MORE of their newfound profits. Why stop at just paying LESS in corporate taxes? Why not lay unneeded workers OFF to keep EVEN MORE money? As Homer Simpson would say, "Duuooh!" Yes, after the fact, it kind of IS that obvious to those of us who actually have a few working brain cells in our skulls.
The final reason is -- as something I've been talking about for YEARS now -- plants, manufacturers, and even RETAIL businesses are starting to AUTOMATE anything and everything they can.
Case in point, Amazon has been promising jobs left and right to be able to get local tax breaks AND promised incentives to park their new distribution centers in a wide variety of areas including economically-stressed places like Detroit. What they'll generally do is make a load of promises on jobs, get in there, and every-so-slowly hire people in...probably with no intent on keeping up with the promised job numbers. At least not any time soon. For example, they have a new 1-million-square-foot warehouse in the Midwest in which they promised 1,000 new jobs. First of all, a warehouse THAT size should command many more than just 1,000 jobs. But even still, they didn't hit the mark on hiring all these people. Not yet. Will they? Who knows?!
Walmart and many other companies are cutting back staff and employees for automated technology. And I've been sending out this warning for a long time now.
In fact, if I owned a bunch of fast food restaurants -- say McDonald's -- and I was suddenly hit with this new $15-an-hour minimum wage requirement, I'd GO INTO DEBT for the next 10 years buying new automation equipment than to cheerfully give a bunch of career-burger-flippers a full-time position at $15/hour for...flipping burgers. Ridiculous. If anyone ever thought that kind of job was supposed to be a career giving them a "livable" wage, think again...and maybe go back to college while you're thinking.
Back in my day, getting a McDonald's job was supposed to be for those of us still living with our parents. It was supposed to be a side thing that we did after school and on the weekends while we were in high school for some pocket cash. It was NEVER meant to be a "career" by any stretch of the imagination. So, all these dim-wits who think that a job like flipping burgers at McDonald's IS supposed to be a long-term career...well, those people are all in for a very rude earth-shattering awakening when these business owners start thinking like I do and that is to AUTOMATE and REPLACE as many human workers as possible.
After all, why deal with the employee liability when you don't have to with a robot? No more calling in sick (and taking sick pay), being rude to customers (including spitting in the food), dealing with sexual harassment charges or other possible bogus claims, having to shell out on unemployment if they are "not rightfully" terminated or laid off, paying for insurances (health and Worker's Comp)...and on and on it goes with human workers. With robots, all you need is an independent contractor to service the equipment once in awhile and...there you go! No inconsistencies in performance, no liability, no additional expense...no nothin'!
TREND ALERT: If you're paying attention to what I'm saying, you'll realize that being in the "robot biz" is where it's going to be at now and in the future.
If you recall -- post 2008 years -- our economy shifted in such a dramatic way, even eliminating certain industries altogether AND IT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN AGAIN!
Are you prepared for this?
The BEST way to prepare is to be able to PROFIT from the changes and drops that are coming up.
And I have an answer for you.
CLICK HERE for the answer that will LITERALLY be the answer to your prayers when the sh** hits the fan (which is happening NOW if you're paying attention).
There are A LOT of people (especially those who are part of the Millennial generation) who feel self-entitled...to everything.
They don't want to work hard. Or work at all. But yet they want a paycheck. For doing very little...or nothing.
They want to go from a ZERO to a BALLER in a few weeks' time...without doing much work.
This is what I like to call the "lottery ticket" mentality.
Except this group of people is either too lazy or cheap to go get the $1 lottery ticket in the first place!
My assistant Holly turned out to be one of these people. She's a self-entitled "the-world-owes-me-a-living-because-I'm-breathing" lazy and unskilled Millennial who wanted to start with my company and move from the "mail room" to the "corner window office as company CEO" within no time flat.
And because I won't allow for anyone with little skills to make that kind of leap without...well, first LEARNING THE JOB and then BUILDING SKILLS OVER TIME...she decided that she would just TAKE the CEO pay for herself as she ran payroll...starting from about March and ending in September when I fired her. She was making as much money as I was making from my own company when I looked at all the payroll records of what each of us were being paid.
Except that Holly doesn't have nearly the skill set to be earning what I earn from my own company as CEO.
She can't write a business letter to save her life, let alone a sales letter. She can't build a website. She can't sell anything. She can't create products, speak at seminars, or do the myriad of other things I do.
She can sit at a desk, answer the phone, and do data entry in Excel or QuickBooks. And that's about it. Yet she wanted to be paid a much higher paycheck for her menial position thinking all the while that she deserved her self-imposed pay raise...without my authorization, of course.
Even more tacky, she was telling some of my long-time friends at some of my events that I wasn't paying her enough money. Huh? Bitch, you just started working for me only a few months back. What the hell do you think this is??
Since I cannot comment about the legal aspects of this case, I will say that I was deeply hurt and blindsided by her fraud and embezzlement because I did consider her to be a friend. (Perhaps that was my mistake.) But, it goes to show you that those who try to befriend you (in the capacity of an underling such as an employee), it's solely for the purposes of full-fledged manipulation and taking advantage of you down the road.
As with, what I discovered, was the premeditated intention that she had with me.
Perhaps this is why she invited me out to "hang out" or to watch movies at her house. She figured that if she got close to me in that way, I'd let down my guard and I'd trust her...allowing for her plan of theft to be played out in its entirety. It worked. For a short time, anyway.
But I did warn her...as I warn EVERYONE who begins employment with me:
"You may take me for a fool today...or tomorrow. But if something is amiss within my operation, I ALWAYS figure it out, sooner or later. ALWAYS! And nobody gets away with anything with me."
And she won't get away with this. At all! (More to come about this...I'll keep you posted.)
So now I'm in the office, steaming. In fact, if I looked in the mirror, I'd probably see a red face (much like the angry red Emoji face) with steam coming out of my ears.
Of course, with all negative energy...more negative energy attracts itself to me. And now to I have to deal with a couple of jerk-off students who sent me emails, essentially telling me that the world owes them a living and since the world isn't giving them the living that they believe their automatically entitled to, they're mad...especially at me for not parting the waters for them. (Since I must be viewed as a magical wizard by some.) Once such lame-oid is too lazy to follow a very clearly laid out SIMPLE set of instructions that my investor partner presented for all partnership deals. So, because she's lazy and doesn't want to do the stuff on the list, she's deciding that she wants to get irate with me. Don't get irate with me because you're lazy and don't want to follow SIMPLE instructions! Don't get mad at me because you order courses and videos from me, decide to do NOTHING with it (because a leprechaun didn't pop out of the box to DO the stuff FOR you), and then demand a refund while REFUSING to send any of the stuff back to me.
So, guess what, Lazy Lady (and you know who it is I'm talking to), look at the OTHER students who AREN'T complaining, who are just DOING the work, and who are becoming HUGELY SUCCESSFUL because they're working the steps in the system! See how easy it is when you STOP BITCHING and START DOING?? Loser.
These are students that go on what I call a BLACKLIST. Yes, I do have a BLACKLIST in my office. It's not very long but some students end up on this list and they're not allowed to do anything, order anything, show up at anything having to do with me in the future. It's an IMPOSSIBLE LIST to get off of. I never relent when it comes to people begging (and they all end up begging at some point) to get off that list. (Word to the wise: DO NOT GET ON MY BLACKLIST!)
Now, to be CRYSTAL CLEAR, not all of my money-making systems are for everybody. And this one (the one you'll find when you CLICK HERE) is no exception. In fact, it's probably for FEWER of you than any of my other money-making opportunities that I offer.
The awesome thing about this investment plan is that the steps are so simple, most people can figure this out pretty quickly. So...people with rocks behind their ears WILL have problems following these basic instructions, as they probably do with every other basic thing in their lives. So, if you're looking for an opportunity with simple steps, this is something you definitely want to consider. However, IF you cannot follow simple instructions, don't bother looking into this further. It's not for you!
Only you know which category you fall into. Are you in the Simple-Instruction-Following Category? Or the Dumb-Ass-NON-Instruction-Following Category?
If you're in the Simple-Instruction-Following Category then you can get money from my investor IF you apply and IF you follow the simple instructions provided.
Since that encompasses you, I recommend that you CLICK HERE to check this out. You'll know right away if this is something for you. Or not. Either way, I won't be offended.
I think we're all clued in on what's been happening these days (especially all the shootings...happening everywhere now) and...it's pretty bad. Isn't it? And there's nothing left to say really in situations like this where the violence is just getting worse with each passing year. It kind of makes one pause and take a step back to figure out where all this is coming from.
First of all, my condolences to those who have sustained losses in ANY of the recent violence that's been happening lately. I actually know more than a few people who were directly involved in or at shootings in the past couple of years. And even though they've all escaped physically unscathed...psychologically...well, that's a whole other thing altogether. Others, however, didn't fare well or at all. And it makes you grateful for every moment alive you have since you never know when it'll all be taken away!
I get why most people are depressed and feeling hopeless in today's times. I understand isolation, loneliness, and a feeling of disconnection from fellow human beings. I get all that. Because that's just the world we are living in now.
As time goes on I'm noticing that people are feeling more frustrated, more disconnected, more angry, more helpless...and more out of control. I believe this is why people are doing these things. I may be wrong, but that's just my general assessment. The more off-balance we are becoming as a world, the more these things will not only continue to happen but will happen with greater frequency while more and more people's lives are taken in each incident as these crack-pots get more "creative" in how they can take even more people in one fell swoop.
Pretty soon, people won't leave the house anymore. And the terrorists (foreign and domestic) will have won.
So, what's the solution to all of this? Is there even a solution?
I don't know.
The REAL question is this: "How do you stay focused while completely balanced and [gasp] even HAPPY in the midst of all that is going on in the world today?" I suppose the true answer differs greatly from one person to the next. For me, I've found that I have to have a deep sense of purpose in what I'm doing, mainly in doing FOR OTHERS and not really for myself. I suggest the same for you. Find some purpose, even if it's just being there for your family and friends. It doesn't have to be this huge sense of purpose to be relevant. Seriously, you don't.
When I was doing my last seminar in Vegas (which was last month), I noticed that there was a common theme among many of my students which, before, I would condemn. (I don't anymore.) And that is this: "I just want to make money doing anything so long as I can spend more time with my family while being able to afford to travel and do the things I want to do." While before I thought this was kind of shallow, I later realized that this is exactly what everybody is after. And, perhaps, if EVERYBODY was able to work less (having much less stress) working for themselves (having a sense of CONTROL over their lives) and be able to spend more time with their friends and families traveling and doing what they want (having a better sense of CONNECTION), perhaps everybody would be more BALANCED and more "zen." And zen people don't go out shooting people. They just don't.
If you want to check out something that maybe YOU can use to gain quick financial control over your life, CLICK HERE! After all, everybody is looking for more control and balance. And you're probably not getting that now. But you can.
In the meantime, stay happy and healthy, my friend. Life is too short to be sad all the time.
Earlier this year I mentioned that this was going to be my year of power. And it is. It's been pretty amazing so far. But not only is it MY year of power, it's also yours as well...IF you want it to be, that is.
Sometime late last year I decided to no longer be a victim as a usable doormat to people anymore. And I decided to stand up in every situation I felt was wrong or wasn't working for me. Of course, this makes me a lonely person with very few people in my life but that only means all the loser deadbeats are now gone. When I'm ready, I'll have to start lining myself up with some awesome people. Right now I'm on a mission to do bigger and better things business-wise.
So...what was my latest conquest of power?
This past year has given me a couple of "closures" on some lingering issues that are finally over. One was my family court hearing where I finally financially nailed my daughter's father to the wall after meticulously playing this legal chess game with him for the past several years. Guess I'm better at chess than he is. Some of us realize that a war includes many, many battles while others think the first battle is the wholewar. The smart ones focus on each battle one at a time. The dumb ones focus on just the first one or two then lose the rest because they aren't in it for the long haul or they quickly run out of steam. So...I won. He lost. It happened exactly how I planned, just took longer than expected. And there you go.
The second thing...I can't really talk about. It's too personal. But, needless to say, I wasn't going to be played for a fool while letting the player get away with it as he trotted off into the sunset to go play some other sucker. So, by the time you're reading this, his entire life is beginning to fall apart at the seams. Don't feel bad for him. He freaking deserves it. Maybe he'll think better next time before screwing over somebody who won't put up with it. (And no, you don't know who this is so don't make assumptions about it.)
With that said, I have this feeling of great strength now that I finally closed a chapter in my book of life and I'm starting to begin to write a new one this week. When something comes to completion, it only opens up a new road with new exciting beginnings because the old is flushed away. Maybe this is what you're experiencing right now. At least I hope so. Otherwise maybe you're feeling stuck or perhaps on the wrong road in life. And that is always a sucky place to be.
So, how to do you gain your power back? How do you take the bull by the horns in your own life and guide your own path? You just start doing it, that's how. But you first need a direction otherwise the bull you have by the horns won't know where to go on your life's path.
I'll be the first to tell you the truth and that is life really IS stacked against you. It only gets worse as we succumb to constant distractions, "fake news," celebrity bullshit, political scandal, the latest iPhone release, game apps, the latest shiny penny...and then we wonder why the hell life is going so fast without us accomplishing much. If anything we are actually losing a grip, losing control, and losing at life.
Last week my attorney asked my "opinion" when really he was just broaching a conversation. He asked why I think (at his age) that life is going by so fast? He said it seemed like only yesterday when we were celebrating the New Year and now it's almost Thanksgiving. In a blink of an eye. Just like that.
I told him that I thought it was much like driving on auto-pilot. We do the same things each day, especially the older we get. We are chained to a monotonous schedule. Same thing every day. Same thing every week. Like the movie Groundhog Day. Months roll over. Then we're back at Christmas and thinking WTF?! What happened to the time?
But next year will be different, right? We'll buckle down on those Resolutions and we'll make something happen in the next New Year. Right?
That's probably what you said on January 1st of this year, too. Except today is October 16th and not much has happened with those New Year's Resolutions yet, has it?

The biggest frustration I hear over and over again when it comes to starting a business or investing in real estate is this:
"I don't have the MONEY I need to get started!"
But what if I told you that I SOLVED your problem for good?
That's right! I did!! (And you can thank me later by sending me a fruit basket or something.)
I have a new broker who can get you $20,000 to $200,000 even if you have shoddy credit. And this money can be used for ANYTHING including a business start-up and investing in real estate (to use as your down payment).
CLICK HERE if you want to check it out now and look for the Motherload Resource Directory or the Flip It Profit System, as both have the most cutting-edge private investors and lenders for your real estate deals.
I also have a whole slew of other stuff on sale for my very rare Inventory Blow Out because I need room in my already tight warehouse for a truckload of books to come in...and I have NO ROOM. So, you'll be getting a deal on my most coveted and highly regarded resources and systems because I need the space ASAP!
Let the coming 2020 be the year where you finally STOP making those lame excuses...and START doing something already! Time to start lining up your resources so you can take advantage of the windfall of deals that will be everywhere once our economy officially crashes (and that's happening now)!
I've finally decided that I'm DONE with larger events and seminars for good. I'm ONLY interested in doing very small hands on workshops from this point further. Why is this?
I'm contemplating something brand new in my life, especially in light of all the employee disasters I've had to suffer through over the past couple of weeks. Doing larger seminars...OUT! Doing another real estate mentorship group...OUT!
Right now I'm trying to decide if it's worthwhile for me to continue teaching people at all...or not. It seems that very few listen to me. Many attend my events, workshops and mentorship groups but few follow through. Yes, those who DO follow through become massively successful because what I teach is real, relatively easy to understand and implement, and is life-changing for those who let it. Some of my students are making millions a year now. But what bothers me are those who are still sitting on their asses doing nothing. Why is that? Why are they sitting there...doingnothing?? I don't get it and I've started to take some of this personally. Actually, I'm now taking it as a direct personal insult, truth be told.
[PFFFUUUMMPPP!]
Did you hear that? That's the part where I just dropped the mic at my recent Vegas Event. (I didn't literally drop the mic. That's just a metaphor for...I'm done. But you get the point.)
In the meantime, I have something pretty unique and outrageous that came across my desk only a short time ago. It seems that my old money broker -- Ron Espinoza -- in light of his successful distribution business, has decided to give up his DIRECT CONTACT to one of the main companies he deals with to get cash for both residential and apartment building deals...INCLUDING getting cash for rehabbing.
Yes, you can now have DIRECT ACCESS to this PRIVATE MONEY SOURCE to get you cash for your residential and apartment building deals PLUS rehab money (if needed).
CLICK HERE to find out how to get this direct source! (This is LIMITED to only 12 people. Take it or leave it!)
And yesterday...I fired just about everybody else on my staff.
Why? What the hell happened?
Well, it turns out that my assistant Holly was padding her payroll with extra hours, overtime, and -- perhaps worst and most financially damaging of all -- bonuses/commissions that she wasn't due at TWICE the rate we agreed upon.
It turns out that several other employees were in on the scam. So, they all lost their jobs yesterday in the blink of an eye...standing before me completely stunned and slack-jawed as I told everybody to get the f*** out of my office.
Forever.
Yesterday, by far, was the WORST DAY this entire year...and maybe the worst day in several years, actually. Never did I consider for a moment that I'd wake up and go into the office, firing everyone in sight in less than an hour after they all showed up.
So...what happened? And why was my assistant fired last week...a full week before everyone else was terminated?
Well...that part is a lot more complicated. Holly was supposed to attend the 5-Day Duo Bootcamps with me from September 13th through 17th in Vegas. Without going into detail, she had a major personal issue which disallowed her from attending...AT THE LAST MINUTE, putting me in the awkward and precarious situation in rounding up staff to assist me with this event.
The two events turned out absolutely fantastic...and it seemed as if everything was back on track.
Until Holly left the office early on the last day of the event without my knowledge or permission. I relied on her and my in-office staff to assist me with administrative duties while in Vegas. So...when she left at 3 pm and never returned, I assumed she quit. She told me she was taking a lunch break...for almost 2 hours! And just never came back to the office.
She then told me she had something personal to attend to the next day, telling me that she wouldn't be there in the morning. I told her not to bother coming in at all all anymore.
I asked the rest of my staff how often Holly would abuse her role as office manager by leaving early, coming in late, etc. They all told me that she did that all the time. I scolded them all for not telling me the truth.
Now I know why they didn't tell me about all the unscrupulous activity with Holly. You see, they were ALL on the scam of being on payroll to take huge amounts of undue commissions and bonuses on sales they didn't even make. So, since they were all in on it, they knew it wouldn't be beneficial for them to rat out the very person who was running the payroll for all of them: Holly.
This payroll sham has been taking place since early June. And it cost me over $60,000 in financial damages.
Live and learn.
What did I learn exactly?
1) Trust nobody. Ever! Just when I least expect it, I get stabbed in the back when I do extend trust to anyone.
2) Always write and sign my own checks. And always run my own payroll.
3) People mostly suck. But there are some rare gems out there. And I have since quickly figure out who is on my side (and who isn't) when the sh** hit the fan.
So...what happens from here?
I dry my tears and I move forward. I have to re-calibrate everything almost from scratch when it comes to operations and admin...but that's okay. I've done it twice already in the past 18 months. So...the third time is a charm, right? The benefit of having been in business for over 20 years is that it allows me to roll with the punches no matter how grim things seem to be.
In the meantime, since I did have such a kick-ass event, I want to offer you a special bonus because I (unlike others) am a GIVER and I give all that I can to create value for you, my dear loyal student.
CLICK HERE and I'll explain to you exactly what I mean.
The other day I had to pick up a registered letter that I had to sign for. It was intriguing because it said the letter was from "The Netherlands" so I had to know exactly what required my signature since I didn't recall ordering anything from such a place.
I had to go to this hole-in-the-wall post office way off the beaten path and ring a bell...then wait on this lonely barren shipping dock. The whole process of getting ones mail requiring signature has always been kind of odd, as this wouldn't be the first time I'd been to this place.
A man came out and demanded my driver's license with one word: "License!"
"You need my license?" I asked.
"Yes. License!"
I thought the way he was speaking to me was weird in kind of a "warlock who lives in a cave" fashion with one word demands. No complete sentences. Not even a fraction of a sentence. Just one word here and there, in kind of a pissed off tone.
I gave him my license, half believing I'd never see my driver's license or him ever again. But he came back with a letter and some card I had to fill out. He continued with his demands. "Print. Sign." And he'd aggressively point to the areas where I was supposed to print and sign.
This is when I realized that he had a very heavy accent of some kind, seemingly from some overlooked corner of the European continent. But the bottom line, for me, was this: The dude BARELY speaks English. Barely. And I doubted he could even order a hamburger from McDonald's...that's how poor his English is. I've met people who were vacationing from Europe who could communicate better with a paper dictionary of English words than I was able to communicate with this grubby guy at the USPS.
This instantly made me angry, all within a fraction of a second. Here we are -- a nation of people buying into the fear that the "foreigners" are taking American jobs -- and I'm standing at a government-founded organization where I'm battling to communicate with a USPS employee who can't freaking speak English (not to mention completely lacking in interpersonal communication skills). Why couldn't the USPS hire an English-speaking AMERICAN for this job? And why is it that every time I go to just about ANY branch of the USPS, I find myself struggling to communicate with many of the people who work there, even those who work at the counter?
Why is this? What the hell is going on here??
But then, of course, this is when I had to gently remind myself that this is just how it is when you live in a hypocritical society. The government expects one thing of its own citizens, including small business owners, but will do something completely different to benefit themselves. Meanwhile, the Average Joe Blow will get mad at the small business owner for not hiring American-born people to work for them while completely ignoring the massive workforce of foreigners who work for the U.S. Government in one department or another. After all, most people don't realize but the U.S. Government and all of their different departments are responsible for roughly HALF of the ENTIRE WORKFORCE in the United States. So...focusing on the small business guy who has to higher foreigners to pick strawberries because Americans won't do it...and then getting angry at him...is kind of a futile use of getting angry.
But when things like this happen, I always have to REMIND MYSELF that I am responsible for MY OWN FINANCIAL DESTINY. I can't be worried about who is working for who and why companies aren't hiring more Americans vs. foreigners. In fact, when it comes right down to it, I recommend that people work for themselves.
And this comes just in time for the holiday tomorrow and how you should honor that day for WORKING FOR YOURSELF and NOT working for somebody else.
So, there's something I want you to check out RIGHT NOW. CLICK HERE to find out what it is.
What I wanted to do here is share some of my secrets on how success works and why it seemingly eludes you, especially around this holiday season where I know we're "supposed" to feel blessed, grateful, and in the "holiday spirit" even though many of us feel quite the opposite.
Let me share with you my TOP 3 TESTED-AND-PROVEN SUCCESS SECRETS so that you can realize just how easy it is to get everything you want and need in your life, starting NOW.
Here they are:
Success Secret #1: Stop Chasing and Start Attracting
Success and wealth absolutely HATE desperation. Just like you would hate talking to or having to do with anyone who is desperately hanging onto you at, say, a cocktail party. Wealth and success are both the same way. The more you try chasing it down, the more it escapes you. It's like running after a chicken at full speed in a backyard the size of an acre. Catching that little sucker probably won't happen. And if it does, it was at the great expense of wasting a lot of time while tiring your ass completely out in the process, making you think out loud, "Was this really worth the effort?"
Desperation reminds me of an oil drop in a cup of water. You'll notice that the drop repels the water around it, pushing it away. Yes, they "sort of" co-exist in the cup but not really. The water is under the oil, wishing it wasn't there since the oil itself is a burden upon it. You can't be that burden to success. You can't try fitting in somewhere that you don't belong. You have to BECOME wealth and success in order for it to want to infiltrate your life with its gifts.
So...what do you do? How do you stop chasing?
I think the answer is within the question. STOP CHASING. It's that simple. Sit down, take a breather, re-evaluate your life and what's important, and create a money-making strategy that you're passionate about where the strong desire overcomes the desperation for the money. You then focus on the passion, the project, and the business. The money will come because you've stopped chasing it. It's that simple. Remember, you can't do things just for the money because that's chasing it down. Chasing equals success eventually coming to you because you've stopped chasing and started focusing on the passion of the project. See how that works?
The basis of this is letting go. When I start getting stressed out about my businesses or something I really can't control, the secret is saying, "F*** it!" and just letting it go. When you've done all you can do, sometimes you have to let those invisible hands help you with things you can't do on your own.
Success Secret #2: Being Grateful for What You Have Now...AND a New "Twist" to Gratitude
I'm always sitting on the fence when it comes to trying to decide whether I want to write a metaphysical book...or not. One moment I think it would be unique because it'll talk a lot about my experiences with Heaven and how things are over there (or rather here but most people don't see through that thin veil)...or if I should just keep those experiences to myself. One moment I think it would help people but on the other hand, we're such a screwed up world that I think most people are beyond help. Then I internalize and keep everything to myself. I'm not sure if that's beneficial or not but for now it works for me. As messed up and violent our world has become, sometimes internalizing is the best thing to regroup.
One of the bases of success is being grateful for what you have now. I really am grateful...for absolutely everything. I'm grateful for my beautiful daughter and every moment I get to spend with her. I'm grateful for my dog (Sally) and my 3 cats: Pineapple, Scooby and Bobo. I'm grateful for my business, my students, my wonderful and supportive staff, and everything else -- good, "bad," or otherwise!
But it's not good enough to throw around the phrase "I'm grateful..." then adding a bunch of things to the end as if you're reciting what you're going to say at the Thanksgiving table this upcoming November. You have to believe it, know it, and feel that sense of gratitude in the pit of your stomach for it to count. When you're grateful for what you have, even if it's only a little, the universe wants to give you more or give you ideas (those "Eureka!" moments) on how to get more. You have to respect God and the universe for what's been provided to you already (even if it's not that much) and you have to PROVE that you have that respect otherwise nothing more will be provided to you.
It floors me at how many students I communicate with who complain endlessly in an email to me. Never once do they give kudos to what they have or how they got it nor do they give thanks for the things that will be provided to them in the weeks, months, and years to come. Yes, that's right. There's a TWIST to this. You can (and should) be grateful for what you have now and the experiences you've had that has benefited you to this point. You can (and should) also express gratitude for what the universe is about to provide to you from resources to ideas to money to...all of it! Then that throws the expectation ball into the universe's court and it works every time in attracting what you've been grateful for if you do it from a state of conviction, honesty, and integrity. So, do it. Each night come up with 5 things that happened that you were grateful for that day. The next day, list 5 things that you're expecting will happen to/for you that you're already grateful for. Do this for a solid 7 days and see how magically your life changes.
Success Secret #3: Freaking Go for It Already!
Tire kickers are at the very bottom of my list of people I'd have a conversation with, usually involuntarily at that. Lazy people suck and I have no patience or use for people like this. I can't make someone be motivated. I can't teach someone common sense or how to be smart. There are a lot of limitations I have as a teacher and trainer without a working magic wand. But the basis of all success comes down to one single thing: ACTION. And you can't take action without deciding to go for it and just f****** do it already!
I love the notion of deciding on something. To me, it's quite possibly the single-most powerful action you can take without actually lifting a finger. And it's the prelude to where the magic happens. But to decide without doing, that's certain death right there. You can't say you're going to do something then waffle away into flakey-dom while binge-watching the latest season of The Game of Thrones while taking no action for your new idea. That is disrespectful to yourself and it's certainly disrespectful to the universe who, presumably gave you the idea to move forward with whatever it is you decided on to begin with. And when the universe passes out ideas that you get all psyched up about then end up doing nothing with, the ideas stop coming to you and are given to the DOERS in the world who will take action.
Fear is the biggest motivator for people to buy things. It's also the biggest action inhibitor ever known to man. Fear can physically paralyze someone into a complete stone-like state. This is why they call it being a deer in the headlights. Standing still will get you nowhere.
Let me share a little tiny secret to the universe that can make you all the difference in your life right now. The universe LOVES movement, even if you start on a path that turns out to be the wrong one, it'll quickly put you on the right path by throwing out new ideas, having different people come along with new resources, or whatever is needed to put you in the right direction. Here's what the universe hates: non-movement, stagnation. If you're going to stand still, the universe will help someone else who is in motion and in need of the assistance. It'll come back to you when you get off your ass and start moving in a specific direction.
This is why I don't worry about making mistakes. If I'm not sure of the direction I want to take but I have an "inkling" of what I want to do, I start the movement and then I'm further guided into what I really should be doing. It happens every time. You just have to TRUST the process and KNOW that this universal system will work for you...because it works every time.
I have a powerful business and investing direction to put you into RIGHT NOW that WORKS EVERY TIME. In fact, it's made quite a few of my students MULTI-MILLIONAIRES and it can work just the same for you if you're willing to roll up your sleeves and do it.
Just the other day my daughter was talking about her plans for college. And, in case you don't know, she's 11 right now. Already talking about college. AND she wants to start driving too. Can you believe that? I told her that she's very lucky because college is very expensive but that I've been able to put aside a six-figure college fund for her while most of her student cohorts will be leaving school, laden down with heavy debt that many will spend a decade or longer struggling to pay off.
I did, though, have to remind her that college wasn't a guaranteed means to a job or a career. I personally would love to see her as an investor or entrepreneur. But she has seen over her short decade on this planet how hard I work. And she's told me many times with the fiercest conviction: "I don't want to own a business and I don't want to be an investor." Fine. But that doesn't mean I can't set her up financially well while she does what she wants to do.
She wants to be a teacher. I told her that she'll need at least one college degree to get started and likely she'll have to get a master's degree to progress in her career. She doesn't seem to mind. But she was concerned about stuff that shouldn't concern her at this age: things like college loans, interest, and being in debt before one can even start their new life out into the world. She seemed really concerned about this seeming set-up for failure for the masses.
Welcome to the tip of the iceberg.
The whole system is a set-up for failure. The entire thing. Name any random topic and I can tell you how the cards are stacked against you.
Taxes? Pulleeeezzzzeee. Totally stacked against you. (You should know that already.)
College? Stacked against you in every way imaginable from getting into the right school to being able to pay for it in the first place.
Buying your dream home? Stacked against you. Just check out how an amortization calculator works and you'll realize how bad you're getting screwed on your home loan.
Getting a high-level excellent paying job? Stacked against you. Remember, it's not what you know it's who you know. So...whooosh! What was that sound? Oh, that was your college degree getting sucked out the window. Again, it's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know.
And then spending your entire life working for somebody else...just to find that you have to start over at a new company in your 40s, 50s, or 60s? COMPLETELY STACKED AGAINST YOU! Even though many companies love being able to get someone seasoned and experienced to do the job, reality is...they'd prefer molding a youngin' to do it just the way they like it, and at a fraction of the salary.
And it's SCARY. Really freaking scary, folks.
I didn't have Mom and Dad to help me with anything. That wasn't an option. So, survival was my motivation. In a lot of ways, it still is. So I keep moving forward. I keep going. And never once did I ever expect one single person to do a damn thing for me nor did I ever depend on a JOB for my survival.
And even though my daughter claims she wants a job as a teacher, I'm training my daughter to be A LOT different than your average Millennial. (She's actually Generation Z or iGen which gives me SOME hope here.) I'm teaching her how to go after what she wants no matter what it takes because so few young people want to do that. I figure that the percentage of lazy-ass, self-entitled, hand-out-expectant percentage in the Baby Boomer generation is probably below 5%. I think it may be slightly higher in my generation with the Gen Xers. Maybe it tops out at 15%. Maybe higher. But with the Millennials? I'm think that this lazy self-entitled attitude is somewhere in the 60% to 75% range in the United States.
And these are the kids that will be running our country in only a handful of decades from now. Can you believe THAT? Scary. Now you know why I'm concerned! I should be. So should you!!
The good news is that competition in the future will be NON-EXISTENT. If you're a Millennial, or a Generation Z like my daughter, doing any type of business or investing will be a piece of cake because...well, who will you compete against? The rest of her generation will still be playing video games while living in their elderly, barely-coherent Gen X parent's house in the 'burbs. Probably waiting for their demise so they can sell the house and live off the equity until something else comes along. Like winning the lottery, for instance.
This is why I labor into my students who have kids that are young...even teenagers. Teach them business. Teach them investing. Teach them how to sell. Teach them about marketing. If you don't know any of these things yourself, read a book or go to an event then pass the information onto them however you can.
One of the hings I resent about my meager Midwestern upbringing that I realize is still commonplace in those parts of the country is that some people in those areas who have kids think their ONLY job as a parent is to just get their kids "across the line," I call it. Just keep food on the table, keep them clothed and a roof over their heads. And that's it. Nothing else. Then at 18, tell them to start making plans to get the hell on.
But that is NOT the only job of a parent, especially in today's day and age. It's irresponsible to think that parenting is all about feeding, clothing and housing your kid. And that's IT. If you do think that's all it's about then you'll be paying the price down the road when they're 40+ years old still living with you because they've never been taught any useful life skills (other than receiving food, clothing, and shelter FROM YOU) that they can utilize to support themselves.
So, I have a couple of things for you to check out:
